Enjoy your stay.  Holding Out is a musically diverse band of rock, blues, and pop influences combined with an incredible blend of powerful vocals. With an on-stage energy that keeps audiences as young as middle school entertained and mix of rock that has a classic 70’s spin to it that draws older audiences, their sound is appealing across many age groups. And while many younger audience members supremely enjoy the excitement of the band members’ on-stage antics, older crowds are pulled in with finely crafted harmonies and relatable lyrics. This band’s willingness to have fun while addressing the important issues of life and music is what makes their reach into different audiences so unique. With this creative blend of musical styles and techniques, Holding Out is creating something new that people can really invest in. Their willingness to be honest and real through their music creates an atmosphere that makes audiences feel like they are a part of the show and leaves them wanting more. |

  Alright, here’s some big news. Holding Out has officially decided to put on a yearly concert for our fans. We are considering last April’s Live CD recording the first of this series of groundbreaking events. We’ve decided to call it, “The Yearly Thing”. Yes, our creative juices were flowing like raging rivers when we came up with this name. We’re very proud of it and in case you were wondering, it’s not redundant at all to say 2nd Annual Yearly Thing. So, that being said, you are all officially invited to the 2nd Annual Yearly Thing! This year the Yearly Thing will be held at New Hope Community Church in Clackamas, OR and it will be a combined effort between Holding Out and the Greater Clackamas Young Life Group. The kids of Greater Clackamas Young Life will be selling tickets for to the concert in order to raise money for their camp scholarship fund so they can attend Young Life Camp this summer. Also, our good friends Trees of Lyres will be performing! Many of the other details of the show are still being worked out but here is the nitty gritty: What?
