![]() "Holding Out is a group of serious musicians that aren't afraid to have fun. They did a great job of catering to our diverse group of guests and had both young and old on the dance floor late into the night." -Amy Wesselman (IPNC) "When Holding Out plays people can’t help but to dance! Good Energy! Good Band!" -Cody (Thirsty Lion) Holding Out is a "feel good band" that gets the crowd moving. They are a great band to have for any function! -Cristel Anderson (21st Century Productions) If you haven’t heard this CD or seen them live, you are majorly missing out. These guys rock, and their musical ability is phenomenal. Both lead singers are strong and are able to cover a wide array of musical styles. They are definitely one of my favorite bands. -iTunes Listener |

![]() Dave's Farewell The biggest news this month is about our beloved bass player, Dave. The good news first... Dave got married in June! The wedding was beautiful and the bride and groom couldn’t have been happier. It was a great day. Now the sad news... come mid-August, Dave and his new bride Ashley will be moving to Pennsylvania where Dave will attend law school. This, sadly, will be the end of Dave’s term in the office of bass player for Holding Out. We’re very sad to see him go but we are glad that he is pursuing his own dreams of becoming a lawyer, a husband, and some day, a father.” As this day is rapidly approaching, we are becoming more and more sad for the loss of one of our family members. But, at the same time, we are enjoying every moment and performance we still get to share with the great Dave Cramer. Dave has written a goodbye letter to all of you. Please visit his page on the website (www.holdingoutband.com/dave) to read it. You can also e-mail Dave at dave@holdingoutband.com to send your best wishes or even convince him to stay, you know, if you want. Here are Dave’s last couple of shows with Holding Out (check out more details about them at www.holdingoutband.com/calendar): - If you are 21 or older you can come see Dave’s last Thirsty Lion performance on August 1st at 9:30PM. We’ll be playing the usual 3 hours of ½ originals and ½ cover songs. - Dave’s official last show is at an event called “Epiphany in the Park” which is being held at Esther Short Park in Vancouver, WA. This may seem like it’s a far distance away to some of you, but it’s really not. Especially since it’s Dave’s official last show as a member of Holding Out, no distance should be too far. We are playing at 2:00PM, and we are only playing straight-up Holding Out originals (which is the best kind of show). But here is the clincher, we are only playing for 45 minutes, so you can’t be late or you might miss it! Please come see one of Dave’s last shows! You won’t want to miss being a part of this moment in Holding Out history, sad as it may be. |
